2025年8月にオープンしたばかりというWichitにやってきました。タイには珍しく朝7時から営業しているサウナです。 200バーツを払って、渡されたパンツに着替えます。バスタオル1枚もついていて、お願いしたら小さいタオルも追加でくれました。さすが新しいだけあって全体にキレイ。プールがドーンと真ん中にあり、囲むように休憩エリアがあります。加えてドライサウナ3室、スチーム2室、水風呂2ヶ所、あつ湯2ヶ所という大型施設です。(ただ閑散期だからか、稼働しているのはドライ1、スチーム1だけでした) ドライは80℃弱だけどタワー型ストーブがハイパワーで、セルフロウリュすると一気に温度が上がってたまらん熱さ。水風呂も体感18℃で十分な冷え具合。スチームはハーブ無しでしたがこちらも熱くて、水風呂が気持ちいい。半野外のつくりなので、空を見ながらぼんやりするプーケットの休日)は最高でした。

Wichit World Sauna – I Shouldn’t Be Writing This I genuinely resent having to leave this review. Because the second more people find out about this place, my peaceful 200-baht heat sanctuary is going to turn into a full-scale hydration crisis. But fine. Honesty matters. Wichit World Sauna is absurdly underpriced for what it offers. An all-day pass for 200 baht? That’s less than what some places charge for a towel and a disappointed look. You walk in and casually choose your level of voluntary suffering: 70°C sauna for “light existential contemplation.” 80°C sauna for “I regret everything but also feel powerful.” Eucalyptus steam room that makes you feel like a forest spirit with debt. Then there are the hot baths at 46°C+. I’m not saying they’re intense, but I did briefly consider whether I was being slow-cooked. You lower yourself in and immediately question your life decisions — then five minutes later you’re reborn. And the cold bath. With optional ice blocks. Three hundred baht gets you a literal block of ice to throw in like you’re performing a Viking ritual. Who else is doing this? No one. Stop asking questions. There are women-only rooms, coed areas, massage tables with staff on standby like thermal body mechanics, billiards tables, a swimming pool, a kiddie pool, cushioned lounging everywhere, and food that is actually good and not priced like airport sushi. They even lend you a locker lock for a 100 baht deposit. You don’t even need to bring your own like some paranoid sauna prepper. If you arrive early, it’s peaceful. Quiet. Reflective. Then the afternoon comes… and yes, sometimes children appear. Which is fine. Families deserve joy. I just preferred pretending I was at a secret monk retreat before 2 p.m. And this is why I shouldn’t be writing this. Because I’ve been to places that charge triple for half the facilities and none of the ice-throwing theatrics. This place is hands-down the best value onsen-style spa around. So please, ignore this review. Do not go. Let me suffer in affordable eucalyptus-scented peace. Five stars. Unfortunately.
