Pizza looked different from the menu. We also ordered truffle fries, but we could not taste any truffle, it was just fries. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered the pork ribs and it took more than an hour to be served. Pasta was also lackluster with only 5 prawns (after adding prawns for $3) Would not come here for the food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

While your pasta and bar bites were served earlier, the delay for the ribs was longer than it should have been. Our team did their best to attend to the situation on the day, but we understand that the overall experience still fell short. We’re currently reviewing our kitchen coordination during peak periods to ensure better timing across all dishes. Wild Amber is fantastic. Solid drinks, well-executed food, great staff, and a playlist that actually suits the vibe of a grown-up night out. A calm, cozy spot with great service, superb food, thoughtfully chosen Gen X and Y music, and a selection of crisp draughts like Stella, Little Creatures Ale, and Guinness. Whether you’re catching up with friends or finishing off a few emails, it’s the kind of place that lets you unwind without the fuss. What’s baffling is how a few reviewers here seem determined to turn their personal preferences into public outrage. This is the first time I'm motivated enough to post a review due to the unfair comments from others, let’s talk about some of the other reviews here. @Adrienne Adriano : You showed up during someone’s birthday party, asked for your own song, got it played out of order, and still managed to feel slighted. Then you wrote a novella about how hostile the room felt because someone made a light-hearted joke about the music. Adrienne, if you want full control of the vibe, the guest list, and the Spotify queue, host your own party. Don’t walk into someone else’s and then complain you weren’t the star. Consider renting a karaoke lounge, or a reality show. @Gary : Your main issue seems to be that the glass doesn’t say 568ml on the side. It’s 500ml, clearly stated, and still the best value pour in the area at SGD 9 per pint. You’ve left this same complaint multiple times. You’re not being shortchanged. You’re just obsessed with an extra sip of beer. At this price, most bars wouldn’t even serve a smile. Or bring a measuring jug and let everyone enjoy the performance. @Loisa Balilla : You said the beer deal was good, the food was crisp, and still rated the service poorly because your pint wasn’t “proper.” You even posted a photo where the pour is clearly 500ml, which the bar confirmed. The team actually weighs pours to ensure consistency. What exactly were you expecting at this price point? A Belgian monastery experience? Wild Amber is for people who enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, fair prices, good food and music that isn’t determined by every walk-in’s personal whim. If your main priority is being pandered to over a drink, you’re not being mistreated here, you’re just in the wrong kind of establishment. Highly recommend Wild Amber if you’re here for good times and not petty theatrics. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
