Excellent experience, I have even witnesses service improvement compared to my past visits, thanks to K. Sea and K. Tun who were very helpful and professional. Food quality is always consistent with plenty of choices. Great selection of affordable wines.

From perfect to disappointing — what happened? We first discovered Wine Connection Porto de Phuket in September 2025 and it was an absolute gem. The meat quality was excellent, the tapas selection was fantastic — you could compose your own plate from a great variety — and the overall experience was exactly what you'd expect from a quality steakhouse. When we returned in November, things had already started to change. And our visit today confirmed that this is no longer the same restaurant. What went wrong: — The meat quality has dropped significantly. The cuts are now fattier and served differently. It's simply not the same standard. — The tapas concept is gone. Instead of choosing your own selection, you now get pre-made platters with little to no flexibility. The charm of building your own plate has disappeared. — The portions have become ridiculously small. Knowing this from our previous visit, we ordered double portions from the start — two sides of broccoli, two mashed potatoes, and so on. The waitress didn't understand and only brought one of each. By the time we pointed out the missing portions and they finally arrived, we had already finished the first round — and the meat had gone cold. This creates a vicious cycle where either the meat is cold and the sides are hot, or the other way around. You're never eating everything at the right temperature. — Sauces are now "extra." The small portions of sauce served with the meat aren't enough, and when you ask for more, you're told everything is an additional charge. For a restaurant at this price point, that feels stingy. — The staff has completely changed. On our first visits, the management was outstanding and the waitress spoke fluent English, understood everything, and made the experience seamless. Now we're dealing with staff who barely speak English, misunderstand orders, and need everything repeated multiple times. It's exhausting and makes an already frustrating dining experience even worse. The real disappointment isn't just about today's meal. It's that we had found what we thought was our go-to restaurant in Phuket. We were genuinely excited to come back. Something has clearly changed — whether it's management, kitchen staff, or a cost-cutting strategy — and it has ruined what was once a great experience. We won't be returning unless things go back to the way they were. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿2,000+
