We are regular visitors @wood house Chip shop and have never been disappointed the food is excellent as is the service it’s lovely to eat in a restaurant and get service with a smile and know that what you order is going to be very goodwhat I also like is that the plates and serving dishes match the food you order Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just had an absolutely brilliant meal at Woodhouse Chip Shop in Udon Thani and it’s easily one of the best spots I’ve found in the area! From the moment i walked in, the place felt welcoming and the service was genuinely outstanding. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took time to explain the menu, made great recommendations, and even checked back to make sure everything was perfect. Top-tier service that made us feel like regulars on our very first visit. The menu is impressively large for a chip shop — way more options than I expected! From classic British fish & chips to a fantastic variety of sides, sausages, pies, burgers, and even some Thai-inspired twists that work surprisingly well. There’s truly something for everyone, including vegetarians, and the portions are very generous. We especially loved the English Sunday roast buffet — what a fantastic spread! All the traditional trimmings were there: tender roasted meats, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables, rich gravy, and all the classic sides. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted just like a proper Sunday roast back home. But what really stands out is the quality of the food. The fish was fresh, perfectly battered, and flaky inside with a crispy golden crust. The chips were proper thick-cut, fluffy on the inside and beautifully crisp on the outside — easily some of the best I’ve had in Thailand. Everything was hot, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. You can tell they take real pride in using quality ingredients. Even the mushy peas, curry sauce, and the Sunday roast buffet items were spot on. If you’re in Udon Thani and craving proper chippy grub or a hearty English Sunday roast (or just great comfort food), do yourself a favour and go to Woodhouse. Excellent food, huge menu, and warm service — ill definitely be back! Highly recommended. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400
