Have been coming here for awhile, and I have to say I am quite disappointed with the recent state of the shop. Bakes are delicious as always, but some price increases have gotten out of hand (for example the amazing basque cheesecake which is now almost $10 per slice, which is kinda crazy). Wait times have also increased, and it’s sometimes frustrating to experience the relentless upselling even when spending so much money supporting the shop, which no doubt contributes to long wait times. Would love to continue to support this small business, but maybe some changes have to be made. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Thought it was on the pricey side but I tried and realised why. Its good quality, moist, sweet yet not jelak. Will def be back to try the others. Tried the choc date tea cake and strawberry brownie! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10

thank you to the woodlands sourdough team for making your beautiful brownie.. my day was going rough but when i bit into your brownie i couldn't stop smiling because it was just so, so good it genuinely made my day..... amazing textural contrast with the chewy chips and hard macadamia nuts. fantastic chocolate richness that permeates the whole brownie and gives off a sort of warmth that's so satisfying. i was a little apprehensive on spending $6 on a small brownie but this is certainly a must order! on another note the marble cake coated with chocolate ganache is surprisingly good - i wasn't a fan of it on the first bite but the (wheaty??) aftertaste is so addictive. i didn't like their croissants though (this may be a personal preference) as they are made of sourdough starter and taste heavily like sourdough. not for you if you prefer light airy regular type pastries only gripe is the packaging since it always gets super oily and makes the pastry wet.. which is really not ideal when you're paying premium prices for a pastry
