Save your money and skip the hotel restaurant. We are staying at VALA right now and after trying the food here, we definitely won't be eating on-site again. We've lived in Thailand for two years and know what to expect, even at high-end resorts. Paying 1,600 baht for two 'Wagyu' burgers and two Cokes is fine if it’s actually delicious, but the quality here is genuinely terrible. The patty was completely dried out with a bizarre texture that didn't even taste like real beef. As you can see in the pictures, there’s practically zero sauce. Just a dry bun, bad meat, and one thin slice of tomato. The overall food quality here just doesn't justify the huge price tag. You're much better off eating somewhere else.
