Had a great night overall at Slinky Bar. The atmosphere was fun, the banana colada was nice, and the fire show was entertaining… until I unexpectedly became part of it. One of the performers missed a catch and the flaming baton hit me. Thankfully I wasn’t injured, but it definitely gave me a fright and could have been much worse. The staff kind of acknowledged what happened, but there wasn’t any real follow-up or even a complimentary drink after such a scary experience. I’m grateful I walked away unharmed, but I hope the bar reviews its safety procedures and handles incidents like this with a bit more care in the future.
