Ordered their Bon Bon cake and it was honestly SO cute! The cake looked exactly like the pictures they posted, which I really appreciate The only thing is that 1350-1,450 baht is definitely on the pricey side. The actual cake sponge is quite small and there’s a lot of cream, so I’d say it’s probably more suitable for around 2-4 people. But I really liked that they use real dairy cream, which is definitely a plus! Is it worth 1,450 baht? I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. But in terms of cuteness, it’s definitely 10/10 and probably the cutest cakes I’ve had! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1,400–1,600

I took a cake decorating class here in 2024. I didn’t leave a review at the time, although I had wanted to ever since the experience happened. Today I came across the instructor’s Instagram again, and it brought everything back to me. I finally felt ready to share what happened. I was in Thailand on holiday and wanted to take this class so much that I changed my flight in order to attend. Before booking, I specifically asked whether the class would be suitable for someone with no experience. I was told that some previous experience was recommended so that the student could understand the class better. Since I did have a little basic piping experience, I believed I would be able to follow along. If a much higher level of skill was actually expected, I feel that should have been made clearer before booking. I went into the class genuinely excited to learn. At first, the Korean instructor, who is also the owner of the shop, was pleasant. But as the class progressed she became increasingly impatient and frustrated with me, especially when I struggled with some of the techniques as a left-handed student. The way she spoke to me became rude, belittling and humiliating, particularly because it happened in front of the other students. I felt as though I was being made to look stupid simply because I was struggling to learn something new. There were also comments about my height because the worktable was too high for me, which made me feel even more embarrassed and uncomfortable. At one point I became so upset that I seriously considered leaving the class. The class had been a gift from my partner because he wanted me to have a lovely experience doing something I was excited about, and it cost 9,500 baht. That was the main reason I stayed and tried to finish the class even though I really wanted to leave. Toward the end, perhaps she realised how mean she had been, because her manner changed and she tried to speak to me more kindly. I appreciated the change in tone, but by then the experience had already affected me and I was deeply upset. What makes me sad is that I had made such a special effort to attend this class. I changed my travel plans because I genuinely wanted to learn cake decorating and thought it might become something I would really enjoy. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, humiliated and discouraged. After that experience, I lost my confidence completely. I didn’t want to touch cake decorating again or even think about making cakes for a long time. It was only recently that I finally felt ready to try again. I checked the website again today and noticed that classes no longer appear to be offered. I don’t know why they stopped, so I won’t speculate, but seeing the account again reminded me that I had never shared this experience even though I had wanted to for a long time. In my experience, the patience, encouragement and respect I would expect from a good teacher were simply not there. Students take classes because they want to learn and improve, and no student should be made to feel stupid or humiliated for struggling with something new. I am glad I have finally shared this review, because this experience stayed with me for much longer than it should have. UPDATE : after the owner’s response Staying until the end and taking photos does not mean I was not upset. I seriously considered leaving, and I remember your manner becoming noticeably kinder during the photos. By then, I already felt humiliated. You were surprised I posted this more than two years later, but I had wanted to review the experience since it happened. People are affected differently. For you it may have been one class, but for me it stayed with me and affected my confidence until recently. The Instagram account I referred to was your business account, which is how I came across you again. I chose not to contact you privately because I wanted to share my experience publicly. As a teacher, it is important to understand that the way you speak to a student can stay with them long after the class. Patience and respect matter.! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hello. I’m Hosi, the instructor of the class. As this class was more than 2 years ago, it’s hard for me to recall every detail. I only held a very small number of classes with a limited number of participants, but what I remember is that everyone completed their cakes, stayed until the end, and celebrated finishing their work by taking photos together. And I believe no one left the class feeling upset or complaining after the classes. And I’m still on good terms with many of the people who attended my classes. So I was genuinely surprised and saddened to read this review more than 2 years later. While I never intended to embarrass or belittle you, I understand that you may have experienced my words or manner differently, and I’m sorry that you left feeling that way.You mentioned that you came across my private Instagram account. Since this concerns an interaction between you and me personally, I would appreciate it if you contacted me directly there. I’m open to hearing your perspective and having a conversation about what happened. My memory of that day may be different from yours, but I respect that this is how you experienced it.

Today I finally visited Woolloomooloo Bakery, and I can honestly say it was worth every minute. The café has a beautiful minimalist Korean-inspired design with soft natural lighting, making every corner feel calm, cozy, and incredibly photogenic. The clean white interior, wooden furniture, and large windows create a relaxing atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. What impressed me most was not only the aesthetic but also the quality of the desserts. Every pastry looked like a piece of art. We ordered several signature items, including croissants, donuts, madeleines, strawberry cake, and drinks. The cakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, allowing the fresh ingredients to shine. The coffee and chocolate drinks paired beautifully with the pastries, making the whole experience even better. This visit became even more meaningful because I came here with my parents and family. Watching them smile while choosing desserts and enjoying coffee together reminded me that the best cafés are not just about beautiful food or trendy interiors—they are about creating memories with the people you love. Those simple conversations around the table became the highlight of my day. The staff were friendly, patient, and welcoming. Even though the café was busy, everything was well organized, and the service remained professional. You can tell that the team pays attention to every detail, from presentation to customer experience. If you’re looking for a café with delicious pastries, high-quality coffee, elegant interiors, and a warm atmosphere, Woolloomooloo Bakery should definitely be on your list. Whether you’re meeting friends, spending time with family, or simply treating yourself to a relaxing afternoon, this café delivers an experience you’ll want to repeat. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Bangkok. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
