I had an exceptional dining experience at Xian Yuan, located at Dusit Central Park. The entrance might make the restaurant look compact, but once you step inside, you will be surprised by how spacious and grand it is. The star of the meal was undoubtedly their Peking duck, which is truly one-of-a-kind. The duck is roasted with apple wood, and the chef expertly carves it right at your table. What sets this Peking duck apart is the innovative approach to flavor—beyond the traditional sweet black sauce, it is served with two unique apple-based sauces. The duck skin is perfectly crispy and thin, expertly carved by the chef to be completely lean with no fat attached. Additionally, the scallions are served with fresh slices of apple, which adds a refreshing crunch and balances the richness, ensuring the dish is not greasy at all. The pancakes are thin and delicate, rounding out a truly delicious experience. I highly recommend trying it. Beyond the food, the presentation is exquisite—the tableware is beautiful and elegant, enhancing the entire dining atmosphere. To wrap up the meal, the ice cream is a must-try; it is both delicious and beautifully presented, making for a perfect ending to the experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is impressive, with a sophisticated design and stunning views of the city. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, they offer beautiful, high-ceiling private dining rooms that feel spacious and comfortable. They even have a large room capable of hosting events for up to 50 people. It is a fantastic venue with great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and top-tier cuisine. A highly creative and beautifully spacious Chinese restaurant, though the flavors don't quite match the innovation. This Chinese restaurant offers an incredibly pleasant environment, and the spacious layout makes the dining area feel remarkably open and comfortable. The service matches the great vibe, with an attentive staff team providing excellent care throughout the meal. When it comes to the food, the presentation and concept are incredibly unique. The kitchen shows off impressive creativity with dishes and menu concepts that you won't find anywhere else. However, while the ingredients are clearly high-quality, the actual execution falls a bit flat. The general flavors lean toward the ordinary, and a few of the more adventurous, creative menu items don't taste quite right when you actually bite into them. Had a wonderful meal at Xian Yuan Restaurant! The atmosphere is beautiful, and they have private dining rooms available (minimum spend around THB 20,000) — perfect for family gatherings or special occasions. Must-order dishes: Cold Chinese Chicken — absolutely delicious! The jelly sauce adds a unique texture and flavor that makes this dish stand out. Peking Duck — crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Xiao Long Bao — served with a jelly-like sweet and sour sauce, which was surprisingly good and very different from the usual pairing. A fun and interesting twist! Great ambiance, excellent food, and a memorable dining experience. Would definitely come back!
