I visited the Chinese restaurant XianYe MALA BBQ, and it offers a genuinely authentic MALA experience. The menu is incredibly diverse, particularly the Mala BBQ selection, which has a huge variety of skewers and ingredients to choose from. The taste is spot-on; it genuinely feels like you are eating Mala BBQ right in China—the spice and numbing effect are fantastic. Beyond the BBQ, they also offer a good selection of à la carte dishes. Be warned, though, that the Thai translations on the menu are very confusing and often wrong! My advice is to rely on the pictures when placing your order to avoid any mix-ups. The atmosphere is simple and casual, much like a typical neighborhood Chinese eatery. You have the option to sit both inside and outside. A big plus is the parking situation; there are plenty of spots, so finding a place to park is not an issue at all. In terms of price, it’s fairly reasonable—not overly cheap, but certainly not expensive given the quality and range of food available. Overall, if you are looking for authentic, flavorful Mala BBQ with lots of options, this is a great place to go. Just remember to check the photos before you order a dish!
