I tried Xiao Luo Bo in Ximending and ordered their 脆脆皮螺丝粉. The broth had that signature sour and spicy kick, and the aroma hit me the moment it arrived. The noodles were springy, the toppings were generous, and the crispy pork skin added a great crunch that made every bite more enjoyable. I topped up NT155 for their drink and the 香辣椒麻鸡, and it was a satisfying add-on. The chicken was spicy, fragrant and tender, with just the right level of numbness and heat that paired well with the noodles. For the drink, I chose their soya bean milk, which was smooth, refreshing and a nice balance to all the spiciness. The food overall was tasty and comforting, especially if you enjoy strong flavours and a heavier broth style. Portion size was also quite good for the price. However, the service could be better. The staff wasn’t very friendly, and the interaction felt a bit rushed and cold, which affected the overall dining experience. Despite the service, the quality of the food makes it worth a try if you are in Ximending and craving something spicy, sour and satisfying. A solid choice for a flavourful meal.
