西門宿泊なら夕飯の後で１杯飲んで帰るのにお勧めしたい。 生ビールは台湾クラフト(台虎)を含めて３種類。奥の冷蔵庫に、台湾クラフトの瓶ビールも充実。好きな感じを言うとお勧めしてくれる。 スタッフはたいてい英語が話せる。 金髪ショートにタトゥのバーテンダーならラッキー。めっちゃフレンドリー。英語が話せて、日本語も少しだけ話せる。 Price per person: NT$400–600 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are navigating the bright neon chaos of Ximending and craving a stellar drink, **Ximen Beer Bar (酒肆西門)** is a tiny, high-energy sanctuary that perfectly captures the pulse of Taipei’s craft beer scene. Tucked away right on the bustling movie theater street, this cozy, unassuming dive completely ditches pretentious lounge tropes in favor of an exceptionally social, living-room-style atmosphere where solo travelers, expats, and locals effortlessly mingle at the bar. While the interior is intimate with limited seating, the selection is massive, featuring an ever-rotating lineup of about six to seven crisp local Taiwanese craft beers on draft—alongside a fridge stacked with unique independent bottles and stouts. Operated by an incredibly charismatic, friendly, and funny team who make everyone feel instantly welcome, it is the ultimate low-key spot to enjoy a beautifully poured, reasonably priced pint of local ale and chat the night away after an evening of exploring the district. Just note that the bar can get quite busy on weekends and they only have 2-3 staff. The craft beer on tap is good, with about 5-6 options. It is located in a really happening area.
