Prawn paste chicken is a must order!! Was slightly disappointed that they use various chicken parts instead of just the wings and drums but it was so delicious still. The meat was well seasoned and juicy and the chicken skin was perfectly crispy! Beef horfun was good as well but the beef was a bit tougher than what I would have preferred. The portions are bigger than what we expected. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20

February 2026:. I ordered an oyster omelet and missed the fact that the oysters were soft (boiled?) and not fried like a different stall. Oops. Still good, but a different profile than I thought I was getting. Lots of other tables around me ordering huge platters of seafood so I think this stall does large amounts of good food and seafood. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: SGD 10–20

Xing Long Food Stall. Tried this zichar while walking through smith street hawker $ ( $10-15 per pax) Overall 8/10 Steamed fish head with hot bean sauce ($20) 8/10 - For $20, it’s really quite cheap. Song Fish head (Asian big head carp) was fresh, sauce was sweet but not overpowering, love the generous pork lard. Cuttlefish Kang Kong ($12) 8.5/10 - Love their unique sauce, which taste abit like sambal + chilli crab. Delicious. The cuttlefish were huge too. Steamed lala ($15) - 5/10 This was disappointing. Lala overcooked and had sand in it. Soup was good though, hope they improve. Instagram: @melvineateat.
