I went to Yakimachi for a weekday lunch expecting a traditional self-grill yakiniku experience, but discovered that the staff grills everything for you. While the service is convenient, it was a bit disappointing as some portions of the meat arrived overcooked, and I missed the control of grilling it to my own preference. The pricing is quite reasonable and the "homey" atmosphere is pleasant, but because I prefer the hands-on experience of a DIY grill, I likely won't be returning. We only offer donburi and a la carte on weekdays lunch and self grilling on weekdays dinner and on weekends, thanks for visiting us anyway.
