Excellent food. Excellent service. This small authentic Japanese restaurant was a great find. My only mistake was not taking more photos. We enjoyed a variety of chicken skewers, honey buttered French fries, prawn tempura, miso egg plant and draft Sapporo (Terra also on tap). Mr Kim, the owner and chef was super friendly and helpful. He is a great Chef. We were served by Saya, a lovely Japanese waitress who was very friendly, helpful and super patient. We really enjoyed eating here. Tip: Definitely book 3 – 4 days in advance or try later in the night. From 6pm to 8pm the restaurant was completely full. It is easy to find and only 40 metres from Hongik University Station exit 7 (look for the Japanese Lantern on the corner). Small cozy restaurant with very good yakitori. Each skewer was cooked with much flavour and we enjoyed it very very much. The oden was very good too! But the best part of the whole dinner was how welcoming and warm the service team was. Please love this place as much as I do.
