For more than ten years I had dreamed of the Fish Cutlet Bread (魚柳包) of my youth in Hong Kong. This week I happened to pass by and bought two - one for a snack and one for nostalgia. Fish cutlet and sauce were right there as per my memories. Tasty! The price was not. $14.50 HKD, really? To put insult to injury, somehow the bread part of it was even worse than it was in the mid 2000s (even as a kid I knew the bread itself was very mediocre). Somewhat softer than back then (which was quite firm), but in a manner which made it not quite bread-like, a little reminiscent of cake/self-raising flour. Two stars for bread. Add one star for nostalgic value. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–50
