Yau Veggie Bistro is an exceptional find that breaks the mold with its innovative take on vegan and vegetarian cuisine. The vegan foie gras with fig dish is truly remarkable. Both my dad and brother could not tell it was plant-based! There is a unique flavour that surprisingly resembles the gameiness of duck liver. It is a must-try for anyone curious about vegan alternatives. The service was excellent, and the ambience created a lovely dining atmosphere. I especially appreciated the menu options that cater to those who cannot have onions and garlic. Yau Veggie Bistro is a fantastic spot that delivers delicious, creative dishes in a welcoming setting! I fig-ing love it! Note: Yau Veggie Bistro has announced they will be closing a few months. Be sure to drop by to taste their creative dishes while you still have a chance. Very interesting menu and delicious food I absolutely loved it. My friend who’s not vegan liked it a lot too. It is definitely different from the “usual vegan restaurants” but it has got a personality and an identity, not the usual crowd pleasing same same dishes that can be done in mass production. You do need to pre order and I did, and there was no problem for that. It is not cheap but consider the thoughts and the work put into the food I still think it’s worth the money. We had the escargot, foie gras with figs and the beef en croute. It was delicious! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
