Southern Thai cuisine restaurant located in a local neighborhood area. Tables are quite limited, it feels like sitting in their home and garden. They cook in a home-style way, using what seems like family recipes, which is very nice. The menu is limited, but that’s understandable since it’s a small place, not a mass restaurant. Personally, I expected stronger and spicier Southern flavors, but their dishes are served in a milder style. Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This local restaurant at Chumphon called “Yai Puad” is my number one of the Thai southern food now. All dishes are delicious and strongly tasting. But please be aware of how long the food will be served due to the crowd especially at noon. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿100–200 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Stir-Fried Bitter Gourd with Eggs
