What a hidden gem! We visited this homely eatery twice in our one week stay in Sokcho. The kimchi beef stew we had on our first visit was the best kimchi stew we've had in the whole of Korea! Every dish was thoughtfully made and the eatery is bright and clean, full of locals enjoying their meal! The boss at the reception and the ladies handling the dishes are so friendly and warm, it feels like going back home for lunch! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hours are wrong Mon-Sat 11-8 with break 3-5. Shut on Sunday. 8,000 won for buffet style traditional Korean food. Tasty, super healthy, and owner couple are really friendly. Lots of vege dishes and pork, fish on the occasions I visited. They grow their own vegetables on the field next to their restaurant. Where the locals eat. They opened a few months ago, and the shop is brand new and clean. I was told there was a restaurant of the name a few years ago hence the two shops popping up with the se name on navermap. Even got some cherries from their cherry tree. Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
