Very pleasant surprise, it was recommended by a friend and didn’t go any research, just went ahead and booked. For dinner they have 2 seatings: 5:30 and 7:30 I knew this would be a serious dinner when making the booking they asked for 2500 NTD card authorization (no show penalty). It is a cozy place and all seats are at the counter. Staff don’t speak English almost at all but they are very kind and accommodating; one of the staff was trying to tell us there’s a la carte and omakase and she was relieved when we said we wanted omakase. The food is really amazing, big portions of fish and smaller portions of rice (some places really focus on rice). For most of the dishes the chef was telling us “no sauce” - meaning “don’t ruin it by drowning it in soy sauce”. We were joking and thought a better name for this place could be “No sauce sushi”, sounds much better than Yo sushi. Good selection of sake as well. Overall an excellent experience and I am happy we visited this place during our 3 days vacation in Taipei Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1,600–1,800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
