We had been looking forward to YONA Beach Club for a long time, and the evening initially started amazingly, great arrival experience, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere and incredible performances. Unfortunately, the night ended on an extremely upsetting note. While we were simply dining, enjoying the performance and dancing along from our table, one of the dancers suddenly removed her glasses, looked directly at us and said, “It is not funny.” We were completely confused and had absolutely no idea what she was referring to or what we had supposedly done wrong. After that, the same dancer repeatedly stared at my friend. When my friend simply smiled at her, she turned away dismissively. Shortly afterwards, she returned to our table accompanied by two security personnel and confronted my friend, asking, “Are you fine with me?” We were honestly shocked. As paying patrons who were simply there to dine and enjoy the performance, being confronted by a dancer together with two security staff, without anyone explaining what we had allegedly done wrong, it was incredibly intimidating and distressing. We felt singled out, victimised and threatened. My friend personally became so upset by the treatment that she almost cried. What makes this even more disappointing is that we had been having such an amazing night before this happened. The situation made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we ultimately left early. We have video footage from the evening showing the circumstances and our behaviour around the time of the incident, and we are prepared to provide the original footage to management. We strongly urge YONA to preserve and review the relevant CCTV, speak to the dancer and security personnel involved, and establish exactly what supposedly justified treating paying customers this way. No patron should be made to feel intimidated, humiliated or unsafe without even being told what they allegedly did wrong. What should have been one of the highlights of our trip unfortunately ended with us leaving YONA feeling genuinely distressed and deeply disappointed. I sincerely hope senior management takes this seriously and investigates what happened.

We acknowledged that the interaction was not handled appropriately, took internal action to address it, and have since resolved the matter directly with your party to their satisfaction.We're glad that, aside from this incident, you had such a wonderful time at Yona, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back for a visit that reflects the experience we strive to offer every guest.
