I visited Yonggung Chinese Restaurant and ordered the Seafood Black Bean Noodles (Samseon Jjajang). The sauce is well balanced with mild sweetness from onions and isn’t overly salty, making it easy to enjoy for most people. The toppings include squid, mushrooms, pork, chives, and onions, giving the dish a generous amount of ingredients. The portion is satisfying for KRW 12,000. The restaurant operates 24 hours a day, making it a convenient option around Wolgye Station. Service was friendly and attentive, with staff regularly checking the dining area. Water and side dishes are self-service after the initial setup. There is no English menu, so international visitors may need a translation app, but ordering is still manageable. Overall, this is a practical neighborhood Chinese restaurant rather than a destination restaurant. If you’re looking for a filling late-night meal with reliable flavors, it’s a solid choice.
