Authentic and delicious breakfast experience Yongji Soy Milk Breakfast Restaurant is a must-visit if you want to experience a true local Taiwanese breakfast. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, giving you a real sense of the local food culture. The food is simple but incredibly satisfying. The freshly made soy milk is rich and comforting, and the traditional breakfast items are full of flavour and cooked just right. Everything comes out quickly and tastes fresh, making it perfect for a quick but fulfilling start to the day. Service is fast and efficient, and despite how busy it can get, everything runs smoothly. Small neighborhood shop. The savory soy milk was a bit too watery for me. The you tiao was pre-fried so it was soft and not crispy. The cold soy milk was sweet and refreshing Price per person: NT$1–200

This place was an amazing find. It’s a really local, hole in the wall breakfast spot. The menu is in Chinese only, so we used google translate to read the menu. Their salty soy milk with youtiao was chef’s kiss amazing and mindblowing. Ive grown up eating Asian food my whole life, visited Taiwan a bunch of times, and I’m saddened that this is the first time I’ve discovered such a delicious dish only now, in my late 30s. Anyways, if you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try. Price per person: NT$1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: This is def vegan friendly
