A really cozy spot, especially from the outside. There’s music playing, lots of little lights, and a cute garden that makes it feel warm and inviting. Inside, the vibe is vintage — wooden tables, leather chairs, old furniture, even a vintage music player. It has a charming atmosphere and plenty of natural light during the day. I ordered the Jeju Mandarin Latte, and honestly the whipped cream on top was the star. Thick, fluffy, with real mandarin pieces inside — I could’ve eaten a whole bowl of just that. The drink itself was good and beautifully presented, just a bit sweeter than I usually like. If you're not familiar with Korean cafés, keep in mind that “tangerine latte” here means steamed milk with tangerine flavor, not espresso. The place is clean and peaceful, and the staff is friendly. It’s the kind of café where you can sit for a while and study or relax. My only real issue was the lighting — some of the overhead lights were so bright that I had to change tables because it was uncomfortable. Once it got darker outside, the atmosphere became much nicer. The concept feels a bit all over the place, though. Inside it’s vintage and cozy, but outside there’s a random red phone booth and a lot of Christmas decorations that take over the look. The menu is also a bit unclear, with only a couple photos, and the dessert selection is pretty limited. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

True serendipity led us into Yongsodam Cafe! A serene respite from the crowds of tourists, selling delicious coffees and what looked like delicious cakes! My husband ordered a Dragon Cappuccino, which was delicately spiced, with a cinnamon dragon stencilled on the top. I had an oat milk Chai Latte, which was delicious. The cafe has displays showing the traditional Jeju way of life, together with vintage European bric a brac, record player, and Beatles memorabilia. It has walls built of lava rock, and cosy wallpaper which adds to the quirky decor. (In the garden outside, we saw a British red telephone box!) Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
