We had such a wonderful experience at this little family-run sushi restaurant. The kind older couple who run it are just amazing. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they went out of their way to put together everything they could to serve us a meal. From the warm soup and daikon to the sushi, everything tasted so fresh and full of love. As a special surprise, they even gave us some local apples for dessert, peeled and sliced just for us - so delicious! Since our train wasn’t coming for more than an hour, they let us stay inside where it was warm and cozy. We even managed to chat a little with the help of Google Translate, and it felt like we were being welcomed into their home. They were so kind that they even offered to drive us to the station because it was cold and dark, though we didn’t want to trouble them. It’s incredible how full of energy and life they are, despite their age. This was more than just a delicious dinner - it was a special, heartfelt experience that we’ll always remember. If you’re looking for something authentic and full of warmth, this is the place to go! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant is run by a lovely elderly couple. They don’t speak any English but we managed to communicate and ordered sushi. We were served with a deliciou tofu starter, soup, sushi and tea. So unexpected yet extremely sweet and heartwarming experience of a local kindness. Highly recommend! :) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
