開店当初、低評価だったので、あえてこなかったが、近くのホテルに泊まったので来てみた。昔の風情は全くないが、紅豆沙は悪くなかった。 ただ、昔は甜品だけで、少食(スナック類)はなかったので、昔のままであって欲しい。

Venue: 1-2 min walk from Tram station. Causal setting. Simply decorated with Chinese pictures. Air-conditioned. Soft music. Comfy seatings, and booth seats available. A unisex toilet inside (no hand dryer/ paper towels). -- 7.4/10 Service: To be seated. Menu given. Each table has a small bucket of disposable chopsticks. Tissue ($3/pack) and toothpicks at the cashier. Waitperson takes orders at the table. Food were served fast. Pay at the cashier. Friendly staff. --- 7.3/10 F&B: Bilingual menu with photos for savory dishes only. It's famous for traditional sweet soup. Tidy presentation. Normal portion. Good portion of sweet soup. Most of the sweet soup are 50% off if consuming the mains. Good value. - Signature Herbal Tea with Jelly 招牌黑水果凍, $28 ($15 with a main at weekends): 有桑寄茶的啫喱凍。ok - Signature Herbal Milk Tea with Jelly 奶茶黑水果凍, $28 ($15 with a main at weekends): 多了奶茶味道，也不錯。 - Preserved Meat with Vegetable Rice, $48/small: good portion of fillings. Full of flavors. --- 7.6/10 - Curry Fish Balls and Pork Crunch, $28: There are 5 fishballs and some pork crunch in spicy curry sauce. Mild spicy. --- 7.3/10 - (original Course E was not available, and changed to) Deep-fried pork chop Rice with Japanese Curry Sauce, $70: served with 2 broccoli florets. Normal size of the katsu pork chop. Meat was tender. Rice was well-cooked. But the curry sauce was not enough. Very mild spicy. --- 6.8/10 - 鮮白果腐竹蛋糖水, $42 (original price): served with a spoon and a fork (for eating the boiled egg, I think). The egg was big. The beancurd sheet had been dissolved completely. About 5-6 Ginkgo inside. Proper sweet level. --- 7.6/10 - 開心果露,$50 (original price): crushed pistachio was sprinkled on the top. Smooth texture. --- 7.5/10

I love desserts and have a high tolerance for sweets, but the walnut paste here was overwhelmingly, poorly balanced sugar. However, the real issue is the shockingly unprofessional customer service. When I politely asked if they could adjust the sweetness or add unsweetened paste, the waiter rudely snapped, “Then you can’t eat sweets, eat the savory stuff,” completely dismissing my request. I decided to return the dish. The waiter then went to the back and began loudly mocking and talking bad about me—so loudly that the entire dining room could hear. To make matters worse, they tried to charge me for the returned dish. When I tried to explain what happened to the cashier, he refused to listen, gave me an attitude, and defensively claimed "no one else complains." He then condescendingly told me I should have asked how sweet it was before ordering. (As a side note, they also refuse to provide regular tap or hot water, only paid bottled water). A total lack of basic courtesy, accountability, and hospitality. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff treats customers with basic respect. If I can give 0 star, I would cause they don’t even deserve 1 star.
