I loved the variety of flavours in the seaweed garden, the fragrance of the truffle pasta, and the presentation and slight bittersweetness of the matcha cheesecake. The service was very accommodating, and the atmosphere was relaxing and warm. Thanks for a wonderful dinner! :)

One of Yugo's best selling points is its incredible attention to detail and pursuit of excellence. Whilst most restaurants generally have a single selling point, in writing this review, I'm torn between mentioning their exemplary service (Waiter Sander Kuijis remains a paragon for all waiters/waitresses to look up to) and their incredible food. Yugo presents fresh, quality food in the unique fusion of Oriental and Western cuisines. Each bite is a rollercoaster for the senses, their fantastic homemade mushroom and truffle pasta (recommended with ham) is masterfully crafted, a blend of delightfully sweet cherry tomato sauce and tangy truffle and maitake mushroom sauce. Two courses would have been more than enough to satisfy my appetite, yet Yugo goes all the way. Their signature sorbet with mint is a treat that you can't find anywhere else. Whilst Yugo is an Michelin worthy restaurant in of itself, all profits go towards feeding the impoverished. Eating at Yugo is a once in a lifetime experience, I highly recommend all to try their food. You won't be disappointed.
