I visited Yulin Chicken King this past weekend, my first time back in over 40 years since I was a kid. Back then, coming here was always a real treat, and it still is today. There aren’t many places that make fried chicken quite like this. The seasoning and coating are perfectly balanced, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with that distinctive aroma that instantly brings back childhood memories. We visited after lunchtime and a bit early for dinner, so we got the chicken to go and drove about 40 minutes home. Even after reheating it in the oven, it still tasted amazing, crispy, flavorful, and just as satisfying. After trying fried chicken all over the world, I can honestly say the flavor here still stands out. It’s not just delicious, it’s nostalgic. I truly hope Yulin Chicken King stays around forever.
