Very homely style adopted. They have different specialty dish per day of the week (excluding weekends). Many people go for their minced pork rice on Thursday. After ordering and paying at the cashier, you are to proceed to the left to notify the aunty your drink option and she would prepare for you. Liked their mini side dishes like the fried vegetables and cabbage. Might take a while to serve during mealtimes. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

they do braised pork/rice as their special on thursdays and it's a real treat. not usually a fan of fatty meat/skin but this one really melts in your mouth. the sauce is sweet yet tangy and goes well with the rice, and the chili (somewhat like the chili you get with chicken rice) is also a must-have. they also sell drinks and i enjoy getting ice milo which is so rich yet under $2!
