This is the fourth time I’ve had banquet dishes at Zhen Beiping Restaurant this year. Boss Huang’s favorite is this restaurant There is a special parking lot next to it. Parking is quite convenient, but it is better to take the MRT. It is just around the corner as soon as you walk out of the exit. We have eaten banquet dishes ranging from 12,000 to more than 20,000. This is Boss Huang’s favorite shop in old Taipei. The signature roast duck is so big, much bigger than the average restaurant. Before the roast duck is served, the guests will be brought in to eat it before taking pictures of them, and then let the chef slice the duck meat. Attach the pancake skin before serving. The roast duck is indeed the signature dish. The skin is crispy and the meat is not too dry. I eat four slices of pancake in a row. I almost felt full after eating just one dish. Boss Huang made a special order today. I had a piece of giant cod dish, which was an eye-opener for us Taipei folk. The diameter of the sliced cod was as large as a dolphin. I had never seen such a large piece of cod. The meat tasted delicate and rich in oil. It's sweet and melts in your mouth. It's really delicious. I personally like the shredded lamb tripe as an appetizer. The scallion pancakes are also fried very crispy. The bean paste pot pancakes are sweet but not greasy.
