Simpe fare great tastes. 2 vegetables and 1 meat is $3. Added rice and 1 more vegetable. Turned out $4.50. Should go for standard combo. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Pretty good and quick caifan here. Got 3 veg 1 egg and 1 meat (3x meatballs) for $4.50. Flavours were on point, very clean and homely feel to it. Highly recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Amoy again! This was the hidden secret of the CBD. Legendary zhi sheng cooked food. I used to patronise them because my chinese name is also zhi sheng. Before the reno the price was unbelievable, $2.30 for 2 vege 1 meat. But inflation was too huge to defend. They finally raised it to $3 now but i think still cheapest in tanjong pagar. Taste wise they dont put msg in their food. Very home-cooked feel. You wont feel sinful and would go on and buy it everyday. It was also my part-time uni days where finances are so tight for me. The uncle remembers me but told me i gained weight ~_~ If you are on a budget, queue for this at amoy!
