Just 10minutes drive out of the airport This unassuming beef noodles shop also serves steam dumplings, stir fry vegetables among others The place was packed on a weekend lunch time, and this speaks of the popularity and food quality The broth was somewhat clear, has a deep herbal undertone Each spoonful leaves a lingering taste and had a nice balance with the pickled green The beef tendons were especially tender and the chunky pieces succulent and were a comfort to me The thick hand-pulled noodles were springy and chewy, although they could be softer in texture But they were a perfect combination with the soup and beef pieces This shop is a must stopover upon arrival into Taipei Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
