As a foreigner, I was refused to be served one hour before closing and told it was already past last order. There is no notification anywhere about last order and also they just serve drinks so I don’t see why there was a problem. I felt unwelcomed and the staff wasn’t friendly. I’m sad because the cafe itself is amazing Thank you for clarifying! I hope next time will be better then. I truly believe your cafe is amazing :) Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

First of all, I am truly sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience at Alexroom.Many of our guests like to take their time and stay with us for a while, so our policy is to accept orders until an hour before closing. If it is within that last hour, we are supposed to double-check with guests to see if they would like to place any final orders. It seems the staff member working at that time wanted to wrap things up early to leave sooner, perhaps because it was a busy and exhausting day for them.Most of all, it breaks my heart to hear that you felt discriminated against for being a foreigner. Alexroom always warmly welcomes all international visitors to Euljiro. It is possible that some of our staff are not fluent in English and might feel a bit nervous or awkward communicating, but we absolutely do not tolerate discrimination. I will strictly train our team and improve our service to ensure that no one ever feels this way again.Welcome to Korea, and I truly hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.
