人気の道の駅【ふるさと村】にあるカフェです。 午前中なら美味しいお米に具が入った地産地消のおにぎり等も販売されています。 新潟旅行に行く際は大体こちらでお土産を購入しているので、こちらのカフェも何度も利用していますが、大体マナーの悪い客がフードコートの様に荷物置きにしたり、長時間占領したりと席には毎回苦労します。 その対応も従業員さんが一切してくれないのが、唯一のデメリットかと思います。 今回は午後15時位の利用だった為、おにぎり等は売り切れでしたが、初めて目にする【新潟名物 栃尾油あげそば】があったので注文。 冷やしと暖かい物が選べたので、お盆休みという事もあり冷やしにしましたが、これが大当たりでした！ 油あげは厚揚げの様に分厚く、ジューシー。そばのおつゆも美味しい出汁で全て飲み干してしまいました。 興味がある方は一度食して下さい。 また来年お邪魔した際は寄らせていただきます。 ごちそうさまでした。 Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: ポテトフライ等 Dietary restrictions: 特になし

Great place for a snack or drink while visiting Furusatomura. Stopped in to sample some of their soft cream. Tried the seasonal strawberry and it was rich and delicious without being oversweet. The coffee was just a hint bittersweet but still just as creamy and delicious as strawberry, a refreshing bite while resting. Also tried the iced coffee, and it was another refreshing offering. The balance of milk to coffee was perfect, and the coffee was medium bodied and not overly bitter. The service was speedy, and the staff was efficient and ready to serve.
