I am a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member and a Marriott Titanium Elite, and I have lived in hotels for 11 years. I’ve had cakes at many hotels around the world, but Castanea in Seongsu truly stands out. It has a wonderful atmosphere, and even for someone like me who is very used to hotel cafés, this place feels genuinely comfortable — a neighborhood cake shop with a refined sense of calm. “피칸호두” is moist, with excellent texture, flavor, and aroma. “쿠키세트” is thoughtfully curated, showcasing the strengths of each different cookie beautifully. “초코퉁카 파운드” is the best pound cake I have ever had. The signature cake, “카스타니아”, named after the shop itself, is something everyone should try at least once. These are outstanding cakes that clearly reflect the maker’s dedication and craftsmanship. 보물 같은 디저트 집입니다. 네이버쪽에는 후기가 많은데 구글은 아무래도 영어로 검색해야 하다보니 없는 듯. 성수역에서도 번화하지 않은 동네 주택가 상가에 있다보니 고즈넉하고 조용합니다. 성수인데 맛있는 디저트를 여유있게 즐기고 싶다하면 추천. 가격대는 저렴하지는 않지만(쇼트케이크 7900-8900사이) 한입 먹어보면 정말 좋은 재료들을 썼구나가 느껴지는 맛이라 충분히 돈값한다고 느끼실 겁니다. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
