Stumbled upon this gem during my visit to Takamatsu. At first, I was a little worried about the language barrier, but then I remembered—music knows no language. The owner is the heart and soul of this place. She was incredibly warm and welcoming, and even though she joked about being drunk and unprepared, her singing was powerful and full of emotion. There’s a song I’ve always loved but never knew the name of—I’d only heard it on the radio. So I tried humming the melody to her, and instantly, she recognized it! She even sang a short chorus for me. The song was '逢いたくていま' by MISIA. This was such a beautiful experience—I’ll definitely be back. Keep singing! 高松を訪れた時にこの素敵なお店を見つけました。最初は言葉の壁が心配でしたが、音楽に言葉はいらないと思い出しました。オーナーさんこそがこの場所のスターです。とてもフレンドリーで、『酔っ払ってるし準備もしてないけど』と言いながらも、力強く情感たっぷりに歌ってくださいました。昔ラジオで聴いてずっと好きだったのに、題名が分からなかった歌がありました。私がメロディーを口ずさむと、彼女はすぐにわかってくれて、サビの部分を歌ってくれたのです。その曲はMISIAの「逢いたくていま」でした。本当に素敵な時間でした。また必ず訪れたいです。これからも歌い続けてください Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to Soul bar Jacqueline today, Saturday at 8:30pm but it's closed. Be careful that their opening hours stated online may not be accurate.

I'm sorry you came to the bar when it was closed. I open at 8 pm everyday except Sundays but the day you came, I had my mother's funeral. Please come and listen to our songs when you come to Takamatsu in the future.
