ずっと気になっていたカレー屋さん。提携駐車場に停めて歩いてすぐ。蔦が絡む素敵な古民家。店内も広く雰囲気最高。カレーは3種類の中で2種類を選択。どれもスパイスが効いて美味！ドリンクはラッシーと無花果ラッシー。これも美味しくすっきり。お店の方も素敵な笑顔で居心地良し。また伺いたいなぁ。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch

本格的なスパイスカレーで満足のいく内容だった 12時半頃行ったら行列で待ち時間が長く、商品提供が遅いのかと悶々としていたら、定期スピード早く、接客もテキパキしていた。 結論、待ち時間が長かったのは、店の雰囲気が良いので、ばさま達の憩いの場になっていて、なかなか帰らないばさま達のせいでした、、、 混んでるんやから早よ店出ろよ、モラルの範囲で Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

If you are looking for true South Indian flavors in Okayama, Tirupati Restaurant in Soja is an absolute must-visit. The Food: 5/5 They serve authentic South Indian dishes, thoughtfully adjusted just a tiny bit to suit the Japanese palate so anyone can enjoy it effortlessly without losing the essence of the cuisine. Their menu features staples like Hyderabadi Biryani, Masala Dosa sets, and omelettes. I ordered the South Indian Thali (Curry Set), which allows you to choose 1, 2, or 3 curries. I went with the Chicken Curry and the Kerala Shrimp Curry—both were absolutely delicious! They serve it with proper, fragrant Basmati rice. The Thali is incredibly generous and comes packed with traditional sides: •Kerala-style dal (Parippu curry) •Sambar •Carrot Thoran •Urula Kizhangu Mezhukuvaratti (spiced potato stir-fry) °Mango pickle Pro Tip: If you get the Curry Set, you can get a free refill of one bowl of rice and Sambar upon request! Atmosphere & Service: 5/5 The restaurant is owned by a wonderful Japanese couple who are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. For expats or travelers, communication is a breeze as they both speak and understand English well. The dining space itself is excellent, clean, and very comfortable. Bonus Spice Corner: Before you leave, check out their small retail section! They sell a variety of Indian curry powders, masalas, and Indian savory snacks (namkeens), which is a huge plus if you like to cook at home. Highly recommended if you are in the Soja/Okayama area and craving a comforting, authentic South Indian meal. I will definitely be back! Priced around: ¥1,000–¥2,000 per person.
