I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel obligated to share it so others don’t end up in the same situation. I chose this restaurant for an important dinner with a customer, expecting a professional experience. Unfortunately, the service from one male waiter who appeared to be a supervisor or manager made the evening quite uncomfortable. To be fair, the food itself had no issues. The problem was mainly the service attitude and professionalism of this particular staff member. When we were escorted to our table, there were many extra chairs surrounding it. We politely asked if they could be removed. Instead of assisting, the male waiter simply stood there watching while we moved the chairs ourselves. It was awkward and surprising, especially for a restaurant at this level. Later, we asked him for a recommendation for sake or wine to pair with the meal. He was unable to recommend. We eventually selected a sake ourselves, which was then served in wine glasses. it felt unusual that proper sake glasses were apparently not available. Another thing that left a poor first impression was when we first entered the restaurant. The open kitchen door was wet and messy, which made the place feel untidy from the start. After the dinner, I looked through some of the other reviews and noticed that several customers mentioned having issues with the same male waiter, whom I believe may be a supervisor or manager. Based on my experience, his service attitude and lack of professionalism is affecting the overall customer experience. It’s unfortunate because the food itself was fine. However, when hosting an important dinner with a customer, service matters just as much as the food. Personally, this was not the kind of experience I expected, and I would stay away from this restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $2,000+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
