Khun New Khaotomhaeng is a hidden local restaurant tucked behind a row of houses, so you need to walk inside a small alley to reach it. The place may look simple, but the food is truly impressive. Their famous dry rice soup was delicious, light, and comforting with rich flavor in every spoon. The crispy pork cracklings were perfectly crunchy and very addictive. I also enjoyed the soft garlic fried pork, which was tender, juicy, and packed with fragrant garlic taste. Another great dish was the huge plate of rad na, served in a very generous portion that can easily be shared by several people. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere feels authentic and local. If you enjoy traditional Thai comfort food and hidden food spots, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting in Bangkok.
