Jittung: A Must-Stop Culinary Gem on the Road to Khao Yai If you're heading out for a trip to Khao Yai, you absolutely cannot miss a stop at Jittung, where the food quality and serene atmosphere make for the perfect pre-travel feast. The undisputed star of the menu is their Crispy Pork, which is impossibly airy and tender, pairing beautifully with two distinct dipping sauces that elevate every bite. For beef lovers, the Beef Cheek Stew is a dream, featuring meat so soft it literally melts in your mouth, especially when enjoyed with a bowl of hot jasmine rice. Their Beef Panang follows suit with the same incredible tenderness and a rich, perfectly balanced curry paste that hits all the right notes. Even the simpler dishes at Jittung are outstanding; the Jittung Salad is remarkably fresh and crisp, proving that quality ingredients make all the difference. Stopped by this restaurant on the way to Khao Yai. The food was delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended if you’re passing through this area. We visited during the low season, so there were plenty of available tables. During the high season, it may get quite busy and some waiting time should be expected.
