Son Charoen Nakhon is a Thai restaurant quietly tucked away inside a private home, located near ICONSIAM. The concept is quite unique—you actually walk through the owner’s house before reaching the dining area on the second floor. Once inside, the atmosphere feels immediately warm and intimate. You can sense the owner’s intention to create a space where guests feel as if they’re enjoying a home-cooked meal in a cozy, personal setting. The menu mainly features Thai and Southern Thai dishes. The flavors are well-balanced, mellow, and thoughtfully executed. Some dishes were quite unfamiliar, but surprisingly delightful once tasted—definitely memorable. During this visit, I ordered a variety of dishes, as shown in the photos. To end the meal on a sweet note, the owner kindly offered a complimentary ice cream bar before we left—a small but thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. Overall, it’s a hidden gem worth visiting if you’re looking for something unique and homey in Bangkok. Price per person: ฿800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

a great spot with an interesting, unique menu and wide variety of dishes all prepared with care and attention. the space itself is cool and quirky too. we just enjoyed here one of our all-around favorite meal experiences in quite a long time. this place won't be "secret" for long. if you're ever around Charoen Nakhon and looking for some good grub, you have to hit up Son Charoennakhon. It's super chill, really cozy inside, and the Thai food is seriously legit. Like, proper delicious. Staff are awesome - super friendly. You'll love it:). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿400–500
