A Must-Visit Spicy Haven at Nonthaburi Pier! If you’re visiting the Nonthaburi Pier area, you cannot miss this spot. I recently revisited after their renovation, and while the space is still a bit cozy (they have second-floor seating now which is much cooler!), the food remains top-tier. We went all out and ordered a variety of dishes: • The Standouts: The Lao Talay (Seafood Salad) and Salmon Salad were incredibly fresh and "Zaap" (intensely flavorful). The Deep-fried Sea Bass with Fish Sauce was crispy and seasoned to perfection. • The Classics: The Tub Wan (Spicy Liver Salad), Grilled Pork Neck, and Roasted Chicken were tender and authentic. • The Som Tum: Whether it’s the Blue Crab Salad, Mango Salad, or Salted Egg Papaya Salad, the flavors are bold, "Nooa" (savory/umami), and spicy. Tip: It gets very crowded around lunchtime, so be prepared to queue. They only serve water and Pepsi, but the food is so good you won't mind.
