This is everything you want from a hidden little Khao Gaeng. Super spicy curries for those that want it (I had the frog leg and the catfish curries). But the flavour is so authentic. Great service, you won’t be treated like a “foreigner”, they’re so helpful. Love the little shaded area to eat, it just suits the whole vibe perfectly. Come hungry, leave happyand burning Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

KHAO KAENG or literally translated aa RICE & CURRY is the most popular cuisine in Thailand with dishes fluctuating from North to South based on their level of spiciness with the latter being the hotter one! This venue is a family run business that has existed for several decades and never compromised on taste and quality, cleanliness and affordability. If you are a local Thai and want to enjoy a delicious meal or a tourist who craves for the experience of authentic Thai dishes, PUYAI LEE Restaurant has a plethora of dishes that won’t disappoint you, but leave you fulfilled - both the heart and tummy!
