The food here is really delicious and the price is very cheap. Super good value for money! The koi khom and koi manao taste authentic and strong, just like real Thai style. The grilled beef is great if you like fatty meat—the portion has a lot of fat compared to the lean part. The tom saep soup is also very tasty. As a Thai person, I can say the flavors are exactly like what locals eat. Foreigners might find it a bit too strong, but this is the real local taste. The restaurant itself is very local—no air-conditioning, no private parking (you have to park along the street). The owners are an uncle and auntie; they may not be very welcoming, but I think that’s just normal here. If you want to try real Thai local food at a cheap price, this place is worth it! Excellent little Isan restaurant, serving all the classic dishes and a few more - including southern oxtail soup. Definitely my favourite Isan restaurant in Korat. High quality ingredients (including the best sticky rice) but friendly prices. The only letdown is the service, which is a bit grumpy, but fast. Ok for me, as I don't come here for the smiles.
