I recently had the pleasure of dining at LOOK HERE THEP, and I must say, their take on chicken rice is truly unique and a game-changer. This is not your average plate of Hainanese chicken rice! The star of the show, their chicken, is incredibly tender and never dry, boasting a distinct and memorable flavor profile. Paired with the chicken oil rice, which is intensely aromatic and flavorful, it creates a wonderfully satisfying main dish. What elevates the experience even further is the selection of dipping sauces—they are abundant and feature some truly special and unique options that complement the chicken perfectly. Beyond the signature dish, I highly recommend exploring their other meat offerings: • Crispy Pork Belly (Siew Yuk): This was a triumph. The pork belly was deeply flavorful and had a perfect, satisfying crisp that was easy to bite through. • BBQ Pork (Char Siu): For fans of authentic Cantonese cuisine, this is a rare treat in Thailand. Their Char Siu perfectly captures the essence of Hong Kong-style BBQ pork—succulent, sweet, and caramelized. It is hands-down one of the best available locally. To top it all off, the post-meal ice cream was the perfect finishing touch, a delightful "dot on the I" that completed the exceptional dining experience. If you're looking for flavorful, high-quality meats and an elevated version of a classic dish, this restaurant is a must-visit.
