おもてなしに最適。 ソンブーンレストランは、タイ国内に何店舗もあり、絶大な知名度を誇っていて、おいしいタイ料理で検索すれば出てくる定番中の定番と言える。しかし、タイに在住すると、タイ人に聞いてもあまり行くことがない有名店の一つ。 味は、全体的に美味しい。すごく美味しいが、タイ料理としては外国人の味覚に寄せている感じがある。ただ、一緒に食べに行く人間が旅行者で、入門的にタイ料理をおすすめする場合は、ガリガリのタイ料理が口に合わないリスクもあるから、まずこの店ということになる。初めて行かれる方は、プーパッポンカレーの殻を外してもらったやつを頼んだり、北京ダックの身の部分を調理してもらったりすると少し特別感もあると思う。調理法を伝えることができる、そういう良さはある。 ソンブーンレストランは、たくさん支店があり、どの店が良い・悪いというのは野暮ですが、本店は、BTSの駅からは遠いが、タイの食道通り的なバンタットン通りにあり、ローカル感もあってお勧め。更に、ソンブーンシーフードよりチャイニーズのほうが何となく「通」っぽさもあり、おもてなしには最適でしょう。 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,000+
