This is my absolute favorite mala tang place. I’m so happy it’s close by because I come here at least twice a week. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh, and the soup is amazing — strong, rich, and full of spices and different flavors. It’s never bland; you can really taste the depth of the broth. I also highly recommend the cucumber salad and the garlic fried rice — both are delicious. The staff are always lovely and very welcoming, and there’s usually comfortable seating for lunch. I’ve tried many mala tang places, even internationally, and this one is by far the best. Highly recommended! Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Longhua Restaurant offers a unique dining experience where you pick your ingredients, have them weighed, and then they’re added to a delicious soup. The concept is simple yet enjoyable, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and seasonings to experiment with, making each meal customizable to your taste. Prices are relatively affordable considering the amount of food you get, and the taste is impressive, packed with flavor and well-seasoned. One downside was that the fish was slightly undercooked when served, but the staff quickly recooked it after we pointed it out, even adding a bit more to make up for the mishap. Their service was attentive, and the fact that soup refills were free added great value to the meal. Overall, despite the small hiccup, the experience was satisfying and worth trying again.
