I enjoyed having a drink with Lek, the chef at this very unassuming bar restaurant. It's just down from my hostel and squeezed between some very high end properties at the end of Bang Pho before the river. For me, it captures the essence of cultural tourism, to share stories over a beer with ordinary folks, the salt of the Earth.
