I miss the days when I used to stick around for work in the Sri Dan neighborhood. As I am a person who needs to eat breakfast at 9:00 a.m., all I can think of is that I must eat breakfast at Hengyodpak - Srinakarin because there are only a few morning restaurants open over there; many eateries open at 11 a.m. because they focus on selling lunch to office workers. Pad Ka Prao Mu Num (stir-fried marinated pork with holy basil) topped with one fried egg is one of the best dishes I must order there. The pork is quite juicy, with a soft texture that makes it easy to eat, and the fried egg, served on top of rice, is hot and refreshes my morning energy. Rad Na Mu Num (Thai Gravy Noodle with Marinated Pork) is another one of my favorites. The noodle is beautifully fried in sweet soy sauce, and I can smell the lovely wok aroma while eating. Parking is not far from the restaurant; there is a gas service station about 20 meters away. For those people traveling by sky train can reach the restaurant by using the Yellow Line Monorail to the Si Barring Station (YL 19). Exit Station at Exit 2, then turn left and continue south until you see the sign for Sridan 12 Alley. Hengyodpak - Srinakarin will be on your left just about 10 meters distant from this sign, super-easy to fine. Enjoy your meal.
