We are a group of visitors, one Thai (me) and three from Poland. We have visited local places with good reviews (in Baan Lamai area). Unfortunately, the majority of the Thai food we tried was not really authentic, I'm afraid, until I found this place. Food here was actually decent and pretty much authentic (which is great!! by the way), and we didn't have to wait long at all, and if we are talking about "Thai Spicy" เผ็ดคนไทย, you can actually get the real Thai spiciness. However, please don't forget to convince the person who serves you that you are asking for a Thai level of spiciness, not farangs' spiciness, but if you prefer something not spicy, please convince the waiter as well that you prefer the food not spicy. One Polish friend of mine can eat super-duper spicy food, and he ordered Spicy Stir-Fried Pork, asking for super-duper spiciness, and he was happy with what he had, very spicy and decently made. Another person ordered Pork Stir-Fried with Ginger, which was well-made as well. All four of us spent less than 500 Baht, having 5 main dishes plus two big portions of steamed rice. Overall, we were happy with the place, and the atmosphere was okay. However, please be mindful that you might experience speaking to Burmese staff who might be a bit struggling recommending what to order. My suggestion is to ask to speak to the owner's son, who helps with the service and takes orders. Another point that is worth addressing, we found that the printed menu was bit hard to read, so this can be a little annoying I'm afraid. I was fine with it but to be able to see it clearly and carefully you need some more light from your phone maybe. Last but not least, we will definitely visit this place again before we leave.
